Who builds it

OFEngine is built and maintained by Ayodele Akintomide, lead engineer at Now2Code. For more than four years I have worked on content-creator scripts: installing them for buyers, fixing them when they break, and watching what happens to them at a hundred subscribers and again at a hundred thousand. OFEngine is the platform our team now builds and ships.

What OFEngine is

OFEngine is a self-hosted creator-subscription platform: creators sell subscriptions, pay-per-view posts, tips, paid messages and shop items, and the site owner runs everything from an admin panel. You buy a one-time license, install it on your own server and keep the full source code. You can try every screen yourself on the live demo.

How we write our guides

  • We test on our own demo. Every screenshot in our guides is a real capture from demo.ofengine.com, with private values such as API keys hidden.
  • We cite our sources. Prices, laws and processor rules are linked to the page they came from, with the date we checked. Third-party or vendor figures are labelled as reported figures.
  • We say what our product doesn't do. If a guide needs something OFEngine lacks, such as third-party age assurance for UK traffic, we say so.
  • We have a conflict of interest. We sell OFEngine. Our comparisons try to be fair, but you should check competitors' own pages and demos too.
  • We update. Each guide shows the date it was last reviewed. If you find an error, email us and we will fix it.
